Standup Comedy Show

Mark WalkerTony Venditti

Hailing from Truro, Nova Scotia, Mark Walker first stepped on stage during his 7th Grade talent show. His impressions of Wolfman Jack, Richard Nixon and Henry Winkler’s Happy Days’ television character “The Fonz” earned him a held-over spot on the afternoon show for the Grade 8 students. Since that time, Mark has gone on to become one of Canada’s most celebrated comedian/voice impressionists. Mark Walker has been a headliner with Yuk Yuk’s since 1988. His act combines cleverly-written standup with a dazzling array of celebrity voices.

Mark has been featured at The Halifax Comedy Festival (as seen on CBC-TV nationally), and has appeared on CTV’S Hospital For Sick Children’s Telethon, CHCH-TV’S Comedy At Club 54, CTV’S CANADA AM, CBC-TV’S bon Of The Eye and CityTV’s Breakfast Television.

Mark filmed a CBC-TV special called “Comics” along with a one hour special (Comedy Now) for the Comedy Network.

In addition to his numerous nightclub performances, Mark is a popular attraction at college and university campuses across Canada, as well as at corporate engagements. In the past few years, he has also become a much sought after voice-over artist for commercial work.

Mark is considered one of the best impressionists in the country!
