Nathan Macintosh is from the comedy Mecca of Halifax, Nova Scotia. At the age of 24, Nathan has become one of the hottest young comics on the Toronto comedy scene.
Nathan has already piled up a number of accomplishments in the big city, including winning a 2009 ‘Canadian Comedy Award’, being invited to the Halifax Comedy Festival in 2009, taping an episode of CBC radio's ‘The Debaters’, winning the prestigious Tim Sims Encouragement Fund Award 2007, which gave him a chance to make an original short for the comedy network entitled ‘The Coffee Shop’, winning the ‘Funniest Comic With A Day Job’ contest which landed him a set at Just For Laughs 2007, he has appeared on MuchMusic's ‘Stars Gone Wild’, a guest spot on XM radio's ‘Chomping at the Bit’ and ‘Laugh Attack’ and a small role in the critically acclaimed film ‘The Wait’ which premiered at the 2006 Toronto International Film Festival. Nathan is also a favorite at two of Toronto’s premier comedy clubs, Yuk Yuk's and Absolute Comedy.
